Bryson Davis! Congratulations for winning the Friends of the Library Purchase Award at the 2018 Juried Student Art Show at Lyon. The Purchase Award gives the recipient 100 dollars. Bryson's photo is a sunset taken in the area around UACCB in Batesville. The sunset typifies a typical scene in Arkansas but is not typical in that it says, "Home." Any traveler from Batesville coming home has seen this. After coming home from Europe, or New York, or wherever, we all have that final long drive to our home. The sunset that reminds us we are almost home has a distinctive color scheme, always a peach tone with some hints of yellow and pink. Thank you Bryson for the addition to our collection.
