Lyon Library Scots

Hmong Embroidery

by Camille Beary on 2018-01-24T11:02:00-06:00 in #Lyonlibraryscots, Art Exhibits | 0 Comments

This week's exhibit at the library highlights our Hmong embroidery.  We have one work given to us by Dr. Winifred Hollingsworth. Created in 1985 by an elderly Hmong woman in California, it exemplifies the careful delicate needlework of the Hmong culture.  Read more about the Hmong in our paper and eBook collection. Needlework is located on the main floor, past the current periodical stands.  (By Bruce the Spruce Tree)
