Before Placing A Request

Be sure you have checked  for books in  Discovery first before proceeding with your book request.

Auto-Fill Forms For Periodicals

The easiest way to use the ILL system is to locate your articles in one of the library’s periodical databases.  Most of the database articles have a link that says:  Fill Out An ILL Form For This Article.  Once the new window pops up, the form automatically populates your ILL request form with the information needed to process your request.  All you have to do is complete the contact information and click the submit button.

Auto-Fill Forms For Books

The easiest way to use the ILL system is to locate your book in Discovery.  If Lyon doesn’t own the book, click on the link that says:  Request Item Through Interlibrary Loan. Clicking on this link will automatically populate your ILL request form with the information needed to process your request.  All you have to do is provide contact information and click the submit button.
