PSY240: Psychology: Introduction to Research Methods: Get a Library Card

This guide contains subject matter focused on Psychology.

Feel Like Driving?

Because of a mutual sharing agreement, Lyon College students can borrow books at other College and University libraries in this state.  Browse ArkLink's Libraries to see if there's something you can use within driving distance.  Pick up a library card at our front desk before you go.  You cannot login to their article databases from off-campus but most have a guest policy allowing you to search their databases in-house.

How to Get a Library Card

Your Lyon College ID is your library card! When you first arrive at Lyon, be sure to get your ID and then you will be all set to use the library!

If you are not a student, staff, or faculty member, bring one of these acceptable forms of ID to the Circulation desk to sign up for a card: photo identification such as your Arkansas driver’s license or a  government-issued photo ID,  military ID, or passport.

Cards for community members cost $25 or are FREE for Alumnae!

How Do I Login?

When off-campus, if you are a Lyon College student, faculty, or staff member, you can use your Lyon user ID (first.last@lyon.edu) and your password to login when an authentication screen pops up during your use of a library database or other online service. You only have to do this once a session.

Community members who have purchased a card can use the databases in the library building but not remotely.

Having issues logging in?  Clear your cache (CTRL + SHIFT + DEL) and try again.

If you have problems accessing the databases please call Lyon support at: 870-307-7555 or contact support@lyon.edu.
